The vineyards of Monte delle Vigne are situated on gently sloping hills that descend to the banks of the Taro River, with deep, marbled earth. The cold air currents descending from the mountains and the difference in temperature from day to night create elegant grapes with refined aromatic qualities. This unique terroir of soil and climate and low production per grape strain creates.
In 1983, Andrea Ferrari begun its business venture and created Monte delle Vigne in the beautiful hills not far away from Parma. Andrea believes that working with respect local grapes, great wines can be created. The small farm and tiny vinery he created, has produced wines acclaimed worldwide.
